  5. Consider the property as a whole – Look to the other rooms within the property to find a style which will work in harmony. In a serene natural looking property, a bright vivid room may look to overpowering. Whilst traditional historical properties often suit heritage colours and styles, rather than modern wallpaper and furniture. Consider the age and location of the property to also help to define the room style.
  6. Build a mood board – Gather together pictures of products, order sample colour books for paint, wallpaper, and fabrics to build up an overall interior design plan to help you visualise how you will accomplish the room’s design.
